Description This is for [link]
It's for the Pit Project. I decided to adopt this guy because I absolutely fell in love.

Here's some information...

Name: Roslin
Age: 1 1/2 years
Gender: Male
Personality: Playful and friendly
Coat color: Blue and white
Breed: American Pit bull terrier

Family...
Jocko: His father, a blue and white.
Nina: His mother, a blue fawn.
Tripper: His older brother, a solid white.
Kalia: His older sister, a blue and white.
Boomer: His younger brother, a fawn.
Soda: His younger sister, a blue fawn and white.
Capone: His youngest brother, a solid blue

Everyone of his family members also found great homes and often have play dates!

History: Roslin was born into a litter of well cared for pups. His mother was a breeder of great bloodline, bred for muscle and conformation. She was treated well and had the best care and of course, the pups were sold to homes for outrageous prices. Breeders have to make a profit, right?

Of course he found the best home with a single man. He got Roslin for weight pull competitions. He was treated great and had the best food and all the toys a pit bull could only dream of. The perfect ambassador for his breed. His owner even had his ears cut in a show cut. Roslin lived with his master until he was only about eight months old. Life was good. He was a happy dog and loved playing with toys. Especially tug of war. He hadn't a single mean bone in his body.

Unfortunately, he was left in his yard unattended for just 10 minutes and was stolen away from his home.

Roslin's life changed drastically. He had been stolen to be used as a fighting dog. With his ears cut and his nice conformation, he was the perfect target for dog fighters. The unfortunate outcome of so many pit bulls nation wide.

The fighters tried to train him to fight and to be dog aggressive. He just didn't have it in him. He was just too friendly. After about five months of intense beatings and being used in the pit to fight other dogs, fed steroids and staved on a chain outside, he was deemed unworthy to fight. They beat him and drove out and dumped him off in the country to fend for himself. He was more fortunate then some 'unworthy' pit bulls, as he lived through his 'last beating.'

After two weeks of living on his own, he was picked up as a stay and taken by animal control where he was fed and healed up. His temperament was so tolerable and he passed the test with flying colors and quickly went up for adoption. His original owner never found him.

He looks great <3 Only one more step to go and you may have him for good ^^
I'm glad he's got a good home.
I really like his story as well. It'd be nice to see such a dog have a story like that.
