Description For this unfortunate werewolf his first shift went horribly, instead of completing the process he is stuck for the rest of his life as a freak of nature, exiled by both races.

This was some spectacular vent art, I was in a rather agitated mood today . Decided I needed to do an old school werewolf, but different from the usual beautiful ones. I wanted disgusting, dark&angsty.

I used both human and wolf anatomy books for this one, the pose was hard to get. Took me about 2 an a half hours, most making sure everything was how I wanted before filling in with ink. Done on Bristol. I find pen and ink rather relaxing.

It was some great vent art, I swear, the art I make while angry at something else always comes out the best! If I sit down happy, forget it, lol.

Yeah, I wish I was the same way. I've been depressed and stressed, so it's been VERY hard for me to even get remotely inspired. Ugh!

Awesome. Can't wait! I really wanna draw digitally, but I don't have a graphics tablet, and no money to buy one, so I'm sticking with pencil for now. Well, trying to, at least, I don't get how people can make it look SO realistic, and like a photo. Mine ALWAYS look like pencil. -sigh-

Anyway, that's my moan of the day. Why can't I draw?

Yeah. Well, a cople of my friends are really good at art, so I've been learning from them, mostly anatomy from Marcus, but it's a start! If only I could do hair...

As far as hair goes, I recommend getting a very clear up close picture of some, like this...

Then taking your time to just study and draw it, like a still life. Really take the time to make a deep range of values. Hope this helps!
