thanks Merpa yes, I'm trying to use different shapes than the usual. Very hard to get away from using shapes by just connecting corners. I'm sitting there and say to myself.. think think, what way can your pencil go? Luckily there are quite a bunch of great artists on DA who give me inspiration for something new

goddmmitt! i wrote this great really long reply and then wtf happened and i was so annoyed i had to work on my painting for awhile. grrr...sometimes computers piss me off. it seems awfully easy for things to go wrong for who knows why. on the other hand, there are people who do know what happened why and how to fix it. like peter. i'm serious, he opens it up and solders shit and removes things i've never heard of and buys a new one from who knows where. lol! i have seem him literally, srsly, never have anything he can't fix without a book or ever having seeing it all. it's like magic sometimes! i feel really lucky, you should the crazy electronics everywhere here. we practically have a digital house!

anyhoo,

i sooooo know what you mean about shapes. the people i get inspiration from for new shapes are hesterkin, naga-pree, and sigdhnabath i learn things from ushiyasa, i mean the woman is amazing. i can't do a lot of the stuff she can do and she has some of the most unusual shapes i've ever seen. i didn't realize just how amazing she was until i colored that line of hers. i get a lot of inspiration from anita, but that's not for shapes that's for creativity and amazing skill with watercolors.

they were accidental, truly they were. Can't help what Oboudi did with them, but it made me so laugh
