oil on canvas (impasto with palette knife - no brushwork)

I am a little disappointed by the picture I took, since the painting itself shows more vivid colours and is richer in orange/red than you can see here - sorry for the bad quality, but I couldn't bother anymore after I took about 20 pics or so...

p.s. I haven't painted the actual table on purpose, since I think that one can very well imagine the flowers to sit on a table, and I kind of like when not everything/not the obvious in a painting is being pointed out...
