This was just a seven minute sketch. It's kind of difficult to get a lot of "intensity" in a simply head and shoulders shot sketched in loose pencil. Heh. Still, I'm sure I could have worked the lighting out for a little more drama,or maybe I could have done something with the tilt of his head that might have added a little more intrigue, but this was an exercise in sketching. I think to do a really nice "intense" illustration of Jason, it would require a full-blown full figure layout, with some solid black lighting, etc.

Though I am a fan of the FRIDAY 13th movies, Jason's not a character I've drawn very often, to be honest. This may very well be only the second or third time I've actually done a sketch of him. The shape and design of Jason's mask has changed a few times since the early movies, but this is the mask I'm most familiar with, I'm sure it received a lot of battle damage and so forth that I have not included here.

No apologies needed at all, man. Didn't sound too harsh to me. I'm just not sure how much more intense a head shot sketch could be is all. No worries though. Appreciate the constructive comments.
