I love dramatic poses and this one us by far one (if not) of the best I have seen. The contrast between each of the colors looks very unique and adds up to the whole, the highlights are great too and well placed, I also love the green on the sides.

perhaps the expression is a bit too stiff and posing, but I guess that fits the title... Or perhaps it fits "dead" better than "dying". Anyway, I love the colour scheme, the flowers and the composition

being so close up adds a realness to it that would not have been there otherwise. The fully opened and now withering flower is not noticed first, but rather last and the name suits this. All the attention seems to be focused on your eye and lips. The contrast of the make-up to your skintone I think cause this effect. Overall, wonderful portrait, especially for it being self. Bravo! Another beautiful self portrait. Now tell me, are you naturally that pale or do you use makeup? I'm just curious@_@ I like how the colors are bleached in this, it adds to the feel of decay to the pic. It's not too vibrant, the color's being sucked out of it, like the life from a picked rose.
