Cool. I know if a local artist who uses narrowly cut (maybe 1 - 1 1/2 foot across) but tall probably at least 6 feet and finds human like shapes in the pattern of the wood and follows those and then paints them in. Really wild work and yours brought it to mind immediately even though I know it is different. Here is a link showing a couple of them.

Glad you looked. Their art work is really cool, and to think she is finding those patterns in the wood! I have seen her do it, she just follows the natural lines in the wood. And yes, I very much like your work too. It has lots to say which I think makes the most powerful artwork there is. Good for you!
