Awright then.
Look at it again. Ed Benedict designed the characters without elbows. One way to tell the animators apart is the way they figure out how to bend the arms - do they fold in the middle or do they kinda curve?
(This is a basic of character design, if you ever get into it, but you want to design the figure so that someone can fucking draw it in MOTION. But if you have Hanna-Barbera's budget, go the opposite route. (Actually, they hated Ed's style and only went with it because they assumed thick lines and angles would show up on shitty '50s television screens.))
