You'll be waiting for that horrible wip i Uploaded earlier a good while longer. It has some major maturing to do before I veen touch it with a stick again! *lol*Meanwhile, here's a more easygoing pic as far as my attitude towards it go! Meaning, I did this mreo to relaxe and just paint, than to challenge myself! I know, I know, I said I was gonna push teh envelope, but inbetween you do need some 'off-time' not to brun yourself out I say. But ah, enough of this rubbush, about image!
Ascent I've named it, they are the spirits of winter, about to leave. The fly up into the warm light of teh sun, cozying about behind the veil of clouds. With them they bring the final snowstorm. Once up in the skies, they will transform into the spirits of spring, and bring with them chirping birds and flowrs when they descend again! I really should do a follow up pic of this theme, shouldn't I?
Painted in photoshop, as always, on and off, so I can't give you any hours. No crit desired, as I think I'm pretty aware of teh flaws, but have no desire whatsoever to bother myself with again. Consider it a vacation image!

Slaps it in a frame and hangs it on a wall. This is a stunning piece. You have quite the talent. I love your subtle pieces like this- where they jsut kinda stand out and blend in at the same time. How long would you say this took you to do, all together? Would take me forever and a headache! lol.

The first time i saw this stunning pic i thought it was 2 peguses flying towards a figure (the other 2 in the distance look like clawed hands) and the way the light falls through the clouds makes it seem like a book.So at first i thought they were flying towards a heven with a cowd figure writing down there details in a great book. (i know i should have gone to spec savers). It is an image that pulls you in and amazes you with every mm of detail. Please keep up the outstanding work and happy drawing

NICE wings. And I'm loving the way the wings and the pose on that foreground mare? harmonize so well. I'm coveting that right now. I've got a love-hate relationship with winged equines: on the one hand they're so beautiful! But on the other, they've got so many parts sticking off them it's hard to make them look natural and have an sort of 'flow.' So I commend it all the more.
