We do not overcome death by living forever,
but by not allowing the deaths of
friends,
loved ones,
hopes,
and ideas
end our lives, while living.
Though you may choose to rise
it may be to your death
you march.
And though you may lose track of your shadow,
your shadow will not lose track of you.
The darkness, you can leave for a while,
but it'll be waiting when you get back.
And it is beautiful, this darkness,
and demands your all.
And in the end, it may take it. it may take you.
We are never completely free from the darkness,
in this life.
We cannot be.
so,
Like the Dark Knight,
We must work in the shadows,
To reveal the light.
