Shot at the Philadelphia flower show this year. Post processed in PS to give a new look to an old, but beautiful subject.Related content

What techniques did you use to post-process?

I converted to quadtone, then levels curves, inverted, then made whites whiter and really upped the contrast, and then hue shifted just a bit to get a bluish black.

Interesting and certainly unique and unusual take on a subject that's old.
The idea of black flowers is a bit morbid, yet this is hauntingly beautiful in a way.

That's really pretty. It's not often that turning something black can help it come to life, but you've done it. This really breathes with activity and draws one in. Gorgeous.

From what I can see from the big thumbnail it looks fantastic, it's a pity the full view is broken as I would have liked to see it bigger. (I'll keep an eye out for the full view fixing itself)
