Thanks  They are unfortunately endangered as they are losing their habitat and are fussy eaters.  We have some large trees out the front of our place and they devour the honky nuts, make a lot of noise and mess for a week or two and then move on to more trees.  They are truly beautiful.  Of course in real life they are black with bright red on the underside of their tail.  Cheers

South west of western australia, 2 hrs south of perth. Great spot, short walk to river and estuary so I'm very spoilt

Thanks for your comments!  It has around 20 or so layers of watercolor pencil on some feathers, which makes the colors so rich

Thanks!  I have been drawing more seriously for around a year now, this is my first piece I was really happy with.  Lots of layers of watercolor pencil on 300gsm paper    Glad you like it, its a good confidence boost for me
