Btw it's my personal headcanon that the scarf and the mittens that are on Garrus here were knitted by Shep herself, she picked up knitting to pass the time when recovering from the war, and it was just too amusing for her how Garrus couldn't stop staring at her five-fingered hands doing their "magic" with knitting needles and yarn lol)
