WAND
Silver Lime Wood | Phoenix Feather | 13” | Slightly Yielding Flexibility
· Silver Lime Wood This unusual and highly attractive wand wood was greatly in vogue in the nineteenth century. Demand outstripped supply, and unscrupulous wandmakers dyed substandard woods in an effort to fool purchasers into believing that they had purchased silver lime. The reasons for these wands’ desirability lay not only in their unusually handsome appearance, but also because they had a reputation for performing best for Seers and those skilled in Legilimency, mysterious arts both, which consequently gave the possessor of a silver lime wand considerable status. · Phoenix Feather This is the rarest core type. Phoenix feathers are capable of the greatest range of magic, though they may take longer than either unicorn or dragon cores to reveal this. They show the most initiative, sometimes acting of their own accord, a quality that many witches and wizards dislike. Phoenix feather wands are always the pickiest when it comes to potential owners, for the creature from which they are taken is one of the most independent and detached in the world. These wands are the hardest to tame and to personalize, and their allegiance is usually hard won. · 13" in Length Most wands will be in the range of between nine and fourteen inches. While I have sold extremely short wands (eight inches and under) and very long wands (over fifteen inches), these are exceptionally rare. In the latter case, a physical peculiarity demanded the excessive wand length. However, abnormally short wands usually select those in whose character something is lacking, rather than because they are physically undersized (many small witches and wizards are chosen by longer wands). · Slightly Yielding Flexibility Wand flexibility or rigidity denotes the degree of adaptability and willingness to change possessed by the wand-and-owner pair - although, again, this factor ought not to be considered separately from the wand wood, core and length, nor of the owner’s life experience and style of magic, all of which will combine to make the wand in question unique.

Gentle | Loyal | Curious | Adventurous | Honest | Meddlesome | Just | Opinionated |Stubborn | Impatient | Reckless | Complex
Growing up surrounded by people who love her, Alice grew up to be gentle and loyal towards the people who are close to her. It doesn’t really matter to her, who you are, where you’re from or what blood status you hold. If she wants to be friends with you, she’ll go all lengths to do so. She’s also the type of person who would think about others’ feelings first before of her own, and would not act rashly if it involves decisions that would affect everyone around her. Though, despite being gentle towards people, Alice values her own opinions well and is not afraid to let others know what she thinks of something. Especially, if she’s sure that it won’t hurt other people.Alice is also one of those people with high regards in pursuing knowledge. Her intellectual curiosity about her surroundings makes her a very adventurous person. May it be ancient history or magical creatures that exist in Scamander’s book, if she thinks something is worth finding out about, she’ll try to find out about it. Though, because of that trait of hers, she can sometimes meddle into other people’s affairs. She’s nosy, especially, if you know what she doesn’t know about certain things.Another thing about Alice is that she doesn’t like it when people of higher status act all high and mighty. She’s the type that would treat everyone equal, no matter who you are, whether you’re a pureblood or a mudblood, if you’re wrong, she’ll point it out. She can be stubbornly honest about it.
█ H I S T O R Y
[ Family and Childhood ]
Alice was born as the only daughter in four siblings, into a Pureblood family in London, where she had always lived. Her mother works at St. Mungo’s while her father is an editor in Daily Prophet. Her home was not that of a purist as most pureblood houses were, and her parents didn’t particularly follow the tradition of seeing halfbloods and mudbloods as the ‘inferior’ ones, but, they are far from being blood traitors too. Growing up, Alice was close with all of her siblings and cousins. She was an older sister and a younger sister. Which taught her to stand on an equal ground among her siblings. The gang of children of the Sabine family were almost always seen with at least three of their siblings, and Alice fostered a loving and strong connection with her whole family because of it. Though, the first ten years of Alice’s life were hard, watching her older brothers, one by one, being sent off on the train to Hogwarts. She could hardly stand them being gone, and the more stories she heard the more she dreamed of joining them in that far off castle.
[ Magic ]
Alice was eight the first time she found out that she can use magic, after her brother Gilbert left his wand out in the yard and the curious, young girl decided to try and use a spell that she heard from her brothers’ stories. The spell ended up backfiring, tossing her wildly and breaking her arm when she smashed into a tree. But, despite of that, she was completely fascinated by the fact that she can use magic. Alice knew from that moment on, that it was what she always wanted to do.
[ Starting at Hogwarts ]
On the train to Hogwarts, people were making paper airplanes that flew on their own, people were doing all sorts of tricks and magic. Alice was completely overwhelmed by all of it, but fascinated; she had never been somewhere that she felt she belonged, but at that moment she did there.During the sorting ceremony, Alice was sorted into Hufflepuff. The hat took near a minute and a half for her, struggling to decide whether or not to place her in Ravenclaw, because of her knowledge and curiosity of finding out new things in life. It was the girl’s own decision to go for Hufflepuff – the house of her mother and older brother – that finally swayed the sorting hat.
[ First Year to Sixth Year ]
To Alice, Hogwarts would always be her second home, from that day forward. Alice flourished there, absorbing every bit of knowledge and befriending as many new people as she could, spending more time smiling and laughing than she did anywhere else. People offered her new things to try, new adventures to stick her nose into, new creatures that she can be introduced into, and she didn’t turn down any of it. Alice was now more than curious and ready for everything that Hogwarts had to offer her, and the years flew by with amazing speed. At Hogwarts, she took classes that were not traditional classes a pureblood lady would take. She made the decision to take classes like care of magical creatures and muggle studies simply due to curiosity; her professors, though not always correct in their teachings, provided her with useful information that made her see muggleborns weren’t something to be feared. This curiosity has drawn along all her life; she was always toeing the edge of something. Wanting to tear away from the hierarchy of people’s blood status’ that continuously threatens the world she lives in.Though, Alice hardly had any lack of friends, and the ones she gained quickly became close to her. She made friends with people who were kind or warm, went for the underdogs – people like her or people louder than her. As her siblings chose to keep their friends pure or halfblood as well, at least their close ones, Margot, had muggleborns within her group of friends.
