Good call. I really wish they had waited and made FLASH with Ryan Reynolds, he's much more suited for Flash than GL.

Jim Carey as Plastic Man? Really? After his stint as the Riddler he should be banned from superhero movies for life. He should not even be allowed to watch them his penance should be so great.

You know, I have to agree, but I can't blame that on the jimster. I think all the blame for those last two bat flicks lays completely on Joel Schumacher.
Think about it, what if Nolan did the third batman with Carrey as the Riddler, imagine how much darker and more insane it would be.

I know...I mean, when I was younger, Batman Forever was actually my favorite Batman movie, of course it came out when I was four so I was pretty impressionable.
it wasn't as dark as the first two but it still had a sense of comic book realism to it. As if this sort of thing could actually happen in Gotham.
I actually only have two problems with the film, the villains and the love interest
I wish they'd kept Billy Dee Williams for Dent instead of Tommy Lee Jones, since Billy Dee actually had a story arc going for him, and his fall from grace would have been that much more powerful.
I also prefer the 'Animated Series' version of The Riddler (not the awful redesign with the spandex, but the original bowler hat and suit version) he was cold, cynical, and brutal, and knew how to make a joke without being a spaz.
The last problem I had was with the psychiatrist and how they handled the relationship between them. Bruce claims he's never been in love before, when that's complete bull when you consider Vicki Vale AND Selina Kyle from the previous two movies.
They also could have had him deal with the deaths of his parents a little more, to give him something to bond with Dick over.
