I'm kinda glad they're not. Because most modern Bat-Villains are so depraved and way too many of them are cannibals. I want my 66 Villains to stay funny and to not be so extremely evil it makes me ill.

That's a valid point and I totally get it.  Though I see great potential in keeping them in the mix and portraying their personal obsessions and attitudes to reflect that of the more vile of the rogues.  Maybe like they tried to do with Riddler commenting on Joker's "evolution".

I remember this guy too. Very cool job!
One of the most interesting points in that TV series was that all villains were played by well-known actors whereas the ones who were Batman and Robin were not famous then - even consecrated director Otto Preminger was Mr. Freeze in one episode (George Sanders was the same character in other).
I suppose it was something bizarre added to others in that TV show.

I know, amazing the way things change. Now you would be hard pressed to get "big" stars on tv. Imagine a modern Batman series with Nicholson as the regular Joker?

you so should, I am sure you can find them on you tube. look up the other villains first on google, you might have a favorite you never knew! Also there is an episode where B & R team up with Green Hornet & Kato!!! Awesomeness.
