Yes... LoK is somewhat an underground title... few people know it, and fewer have played all of them, but the ones that have done it... well... it trapped me, it's AWESOME, I couldn't help but do some fanart, and I still have one piece on the inker, but it's too big, I hope to finish it someday, be sure to check it out! and thanks a bunch for your comment and your s!!! Guess you're right there... -I haven't played them all (there's five games in total, right?) but I got only love for all the characters and the EPIC storyline!
I got some fanarts laying around too... I just prioritized to finish & upload my stuff in the "wrong" order!

Oh btw, as a fellow fan... have you got any theories/plots/ideas about how they could continue anew with Kain's and/or Raziel's path, beyond the events in LOK Defiance?! *just curious*

Well... to tell you the truth... I don't think they should even continue... the ending was so perfect... just so great as it was... Raziel can't do anything else now because he is fused with Kain, he is =literally= his right arm, he will be beside him now and forever, as a weapon, as an ally, as a friend, as he always was before Kain betrayed him.

And Kain... well... there could be a new game in which we could see how Kain started his new vampiric empire aside from the Kain who just rejected the sacrifice in the pillars... but I feel that it is better if they don't tell anything else, the story was SO amazing that I think its better for every fan to just imagine the outcome as anyone like it.

Anyway, that's just the way I think about it... maybe they will make more games... I just hope they don't make crappy ones just to make some more money... cheers!!!

-but yeah, the storyline (as much as I know of it from the 3 games I've played, and later web-research) is truly of epic proportions indeed!

Guess you're right there, it was a VERY fitting ending of the whole LOK-series with Defiance... They tied up most loose end I knew of.

...however, it would be sooo hella-sweet if they could somehow make a new game, not necessarily starring Kain and/or Raziel, but at least make some good use of all that awesome "history" and hopefully also the realm of Nosgoth!!
-And about any real actual follow-ups to Defiance, I can almost bet you there's (sadly) never gonna be one...

[Gotta add it's really nice to discuss this with a TRUE fellow fan of LOK.]

Ha ha ha ha... thanks man, but no -__- I don't know the whole tale... I mean, I knew it, but as time passes by my memory sucks more and more... I start forgeting things... but none could EVER forget the more importarnt stuff about such an AWESOME story!! (I'm such a freak that I can even proudly recite one or two complete dialogs from the games all by heart... heh... is just so DAMN COOL!!!!! I love to do that from time to time just to feel them again).

Anyway... what I LOVE about LoK is the great job they did telling the story, I mean... when I played Blood Omen I did some stuff that they brought up when I was playing Defiance... MAN!!!! 5 games perfectly tied together? that's insane!!! like when I finished Soul Reaver I counted back the brothers and said to myself "WTF? one's missing!... did they just forgot about Turel?" and then... he apears in Defiance! I never saw that coming! it was just great!

What I think that could be nice, is if they just retold the story in this generation of consoles, many people wont ever play Blood Omen because it is such an old game... and many others (like me) hate Blood Omen 2 because the gameplay is just awful beyond belief... it would be cool if they took advantage of the capacity of a Blue Ray disc and redo the 5 games in one, just as they where, but with improved gameplay and the same graphic engine, I don't ask for anything super special, "Defiance" graphics would do for me, I don't care about graphics really, but BO2 gameplay really sucked... if they fixed that and shared the complete story with the world in just one game, I think that would be great.

Ok ok... but you seem to know a LOT then! -and yes, DAMN right, you surely won't forget the coolest & most interesting moments in any of the games!! ...heh, as geeky as it sounds, I too still can recite some dialog-stuff. I bet I could tell the whole intro dialog of Soul Reaver if asked to!

Exactly, and not to forget; the cast of voice-actors was pretty awesome too! -I know what you mean, I got quite dissapointed that they left Turel out, and hoped he'd be in SR2... however I actually got surprized when I realized it WAS Turel that Raziel met/defeated in Defiance, cuz I'd forgot all about him!

That's a sweet idea! Squeeze all 5 together in some kind of "collection" package... but I still don't think they'd do it, probably cuz the process/time/cost of re-creating it all with todays quality wouldn't be worth it for them... -yeah, I tried BO2 some years ago and it was pretty bad. They could have done a better job with controls/battle-mode in SR2 too...
Anyway... all I can say is: Hail to the realm of Nosgoth!!

en fin, q chevere q seas fan d Legacy of Kain, segun yo las imagenes q hice de Raziel y Kain eran para ponerlas juntas en una sola, con los pilares de Nosgoth en el fondo bien cool y todo eso... pero ya ves como es uno desidioso... espero q te sigas dando tus vueltas a mi galería, me alegra de verdad que te haya gustado esa ilustración de Raziel, me costó muchas horas
