My family was a barony, I was about ninth in line for the title as a mortal. Personally I never cared, better some other idiot than me. I will confess the title has an air of romance for me; power without loads of politics. Ironically I met another kind of baron whilst helping the Americans clean up their messes during their Civil War. The slaves had rather powerful gods on their side; including their own god of death. Smart suit and top hat, face like a skull, loved rum and cigars, a baron himself by name: Baron Samedi. We only spoke briefly though I found him a most agreeable fellow. Perhaps deep down I could carry such a title. I am nowhere near as potent as he, but I was enamored with the notion of being such a baron; a baron of death, a reaper baron.

This also gave me an excuse to show Grell as a stylish dandy. This is also a heavy nod toward Baron Samedi, the Voodoo god of death; Grell is paying tribute to the Baron in his own stylish way.

The outfit came from my closet. The cigarette isn't real, the smoke brush came from =Falln-Stock . I know Grell smoking isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I kind of like the image so that's me.
