Oils on canvas, 90 x 60 cm, 2011.Tough project. The model was a little difficult because she had her own mind and it was difficult to get her to do what I want. A little hard to direct somebody from across the atlantic. She is the most stunning 50! year old I have ever seen. Only her hands gave her away. I would have believed 36. I am afraid she may have lost patience with me because it took me almost a year to get this one done.

I just looked through his gallery before I posted, and, while that wasn't exclusively how he painted his beloved panty reveal, there's no doubt the panty-dropping became his signature throughout most of the 50s.
I was just saying you caught that fabulous *feel*. It's a rare thing and it's awesome that you both captured that and made it modern.
