makes some pretty FANTASTIC original digimon, so I wanted to give it a shot too!

Here is my albino thylacine/tasmanian character Tazzle as a digimon. This was a fun little project to try making me forget that I've been sick for about two or three weeks straight. Well, it started OUT little... It turned from a planned couple hours into a four-day project. At the end, I was really admiring how many themes the Digimon Creators pack into these little monsters!

I usually like to leave symbolism to audience interpretation, but I'll spill the jelly beans here because I'm rather proud of this piece.

BEHIND THE NAMES:
Yolkmon: Marsupial embryos actually receive nutrients from yolk-like sacs in their mothers' wombs.
Axolotlmon: Axolotl are salamanders that reach full maturity without losing their gills, unless either subject to certain chemical injections or (very rarely successful) the lowering of the water level in their environment.
Poachmon: Word play on the meanings of poach (Steal things and a way of preparing eggs), and one letter away from the word 'pouch.'
Abattmon: From the word "abattoir," meaning slaughterhouse.
H-Plusmon: H+ means "Human Plus." It's another word for "Human Transcendentalism," a philosophy that people should work towards making human beings better--Socially, biologically, or mentally, for example. Examples of transcendentalism(If not already real, then definitely undergoing research) include cryonics, superior robotic replacements to limbs, uploading the human consciousness to computers, creating artificial intelligence, and, as Tazzle's Mega form embodies, bio-engineering.
Thylavengemon: Thylacine + Vengeance. I had some trouble making both of Tazzle's dark forms because I've only begun delving into writing horror and insane characters in the past couple of months. I thought, "Oh no, I won't be able to convey frightening, let alone evil!"

OTHER:
- Normal Digivolution Theme: Fame and Fortune
- Dark Digivolution Theme: Consequences of Animal experimentation
- Other ideas: Tazzle's Dark Ultimate Form was originally a skeleton velociraptor with crystals piercing its bones, but I wasn't satisfied with the idea. I also tossed around the idea of a stegasaurus, pterodactyl, and Eastern dragon. I'm not sure how eggs and syringes (Tazzle motifs) were left out in all of the forms!
- Just FYI: Digimon grow into their dark forms if mistreated.
- On Tazzlemon's ear tag, 742 spells "Taz" in numbers.
