This is the counterpart to:[link]
And depicts a Covenant Sangheili/Elite Warrior charging, with several other soldiers supporting him!
It was quite fun to do, but as I made the charakters and the background seperately, I was pretty frustated when I realised that most of the fine details I made in the ground and the city would be hidden behind the elite^^ It was nontheless worth it. But I focused on different aspects this time while spending the same amount of time as with the spartan-pic. And I truly like the Elite Armour. It doesnΒ΄t have as many little parts as the Mjolnir^^ And I pretty much like the strong contrast between the orange sunlight and the blue shimmer from the sword
And the grunt was actually never made to be so close!!! I hope the lack of details isnΒ΄t too obvious there ...
All made in PS. about 10 hours. Used quite some references from Halo Reach (you gotta love the cinema mode

But on a side note this is amazingly detailed. Its mire impressive on a computer when you have to work with a oversensitibe mouse. The elite is detailed heavily and so is the grunts and i like the dust behind spewing behind the elite. My only complaint is that the sky seems a little low but apart from that this is so good i'm printing this now ππ―

Actually how i see they sky now is that behind the covenant its dark but ahead is bright. So no it isn't low, but interesting detail almost like as if the covenant is a storm approaching a sunny spot

Your perspective is completely off, if remember the "triangle" rule from art class you would understand why the sky needs to be cropped off. The way the elite is positioned makes it so all your attention is focused above him, he's crouching too low and the sky is too high. It's a shame for that, the elite is very detailed and the background is well done.

I didn't comment on your other ones cuz I thought that would be all stalker-ish. just one question though? for me I don't post any artwork on here cuz its not that im bad but I don't wanna sit there and answer a bunch of nonhelpful questions. haha but how long does it take you to make this stuff? for me i'm a good grey and white pencil art and I have absolutely no patience. how can you manage to. I have several different approaches with coloured pieces, which depend on the subject matter. Here I did indeed start with a greyscale drawing and started adding the colour when the shapes were all set. For the time: Look at the descriptions, I put the time down there every now and then. Here it was 10 hours

Your sentences are indeed a bit confusing, but I get the idea xD Yes, for my digital paintings I use Photoshop, which is one of the most complicated programs I've come across thus far. If you want to get into colouring I'd suggest looking up some tutorials here on DA. Just type in "colouring tutorial" or something like that. It will take some tome to get used to it but it'll be worth it eventually
