Description
In one of the batlte simulations, Riku and Sora are transported to the Forbidden lands of the Colossi. There, they meet up with a young hero named Wander, whom you know as the main character in the game "Shadow of the Colossus." Now Riku and Sora have to fulfill their mission and help Wander accomplish his task in defeating the sixteen Colossi. But do they battle for good or evil?Related content

Neither- They'd defeat a Heartless (Or Dream Eater) Colossus first (Probably a Darkside covered in moss that you have to you reaction commands to climb) and the second time around they're looking for a super boss- and it's Wander who ends up turning into Dormin- and you have to use light to defeat him.

I love this so much! I don't know if I've commented how amazing it is to see two of my favourite games combined, but I'll do it again if so.
AMAZING. <33 It's like, a type of enjoyment you can only get from people who want to experiment with cross-overs. If not the fans, who else will combine two great games?
As much as I want to jump into the argument several comments below, I won't (at least directly), because fighting over the internet - as good as intentions may be - ends up being silly. But I want to say, that - in any instance, not just this particular tiff - if some disagrees with someone, there is no reason or excuse to be rude about it. People are entitled to like whatever they like. The freedom of choice we are born with GIVES us that right to decide what we like and what we don't like. Not only is it frivolous to want to change that, but it's insulting to that freedom we are born with. Anyone remember the Golden Rule? "Do unto others what you wish yourself?" Or how about that one saying, "If you've nothing nice to say, say it not at all."
Lord Cavendish was very exemplary in being polite to someone who obviously lacks in manners. It's a shame that someone that vulgar had to taint his hard work and talent.

i wouldn't advise mixing those two.
1.KH is a shallow series with no real deep thought behind it. that's why they go to deisny movie worlds.
2.Shadow of the colossus is a fantastic unsaid story. it shouldn't be tainted by KH.

ahem, i think you misread my question. i wrote "you like KH? why?" not "why did you combine kh and shadow of the colossus"
the only part that partially answered my question was "For some reason, despite its simplicity, I found it rather fascinating. Not to mention able to mix that particular story line with other storylines." but you never explained WHY it's fascinating. and i must disagree that mixing with particular storylines is a GOOD thing. it just dumbs down the game, sending sora though video-back-summeries of movies, sans-comedy, drama, or romance. all that remains is a hollowed-out plot.

Sorry apologize most extremely. I tend to become rather extenuous in my explanations. To answer your original question "Why I like KH?" The answer is simple, I enjoyed the game a lot. Second question "Why I find it fascinating to write crossoever epics?" It is because I have always wanted to combine my favorite shows and see how they would interact. Now most of the plots are based off of logical hypotheses, trying to make it work so that one element does not gain full advantage over the other.
Regarding your opinion over the combining of storylines and how you say it only "dumbs down the game," I can understand that. Not everyone likes crossovers. The thought of bastardizing something purely unique is wrenchful. I too have my moments. And you are probably correct that my story only leads to a hollow plot. But if that is the postion you feel strongly about, then so be it. I will not try to persuade you otherwise. It is just a curiosity on my part...nothing more...
Besides, due to my story writing, I've come to enjoy doing such. And I no longer have to dread those term papers for class and my typing has excelled dramatically. It's good training. Although my fingers do get a little sore. (I'm getting off the subject again aren't I?)

The story was good, a story of a boy who is called by destiny to change the world. The gameplay was great too. I'm a Dynasty Warriors fan, so the battle system instantly got me going. Like the scene in KH2, where Sora has to defeat one thousand Heartless at Radiant Gardens. It reminded me so much of Dynasty Warriors. (I bet Lu Bu would have had a field day in that scuffle) I also also that concept of friendship between Riku, Sora, and Kairi and how that friendship was tested through betrayal and jealousy. That was really touching. But I think the one ultimate reason why I decided to play the game was to see Donald and Goofy in battle. And who says Disney characters can't fight...!
Did I also happen to mention that I'm a big Goofy fan?

How do you not like Kingdom Hearts dude? I LOVE SOTC, but Kingdom Hearts is almost as epic! It's a kid (Sora) who, along with already struggling to win the love of Kairi and trying NOT to become Rikku's enemy, is thrown into these worlds to free them from the forces of darkness. The lovestory's incredible...and the whole time he's trying to get Rikku not to turn evil. It's an emotional rampage!!!
