Amazing work as always!!! Β How did you draw the highlighted side of the hair? Did you draw the back shadow first and then use an eraser to "carve" out the hair?

Kind of... very carefully shaded around the white hair shapes I wanted and then used an eraser to clean them up, then went back and sharpened the edges with a pencil.
Cheers!

I wanted to say "Creativity is intelligence having fun", which is true and fits your beautiful portrait very well.
But! (fun fact):
although the internet persistently claims that it's Einstein's quote, it's not.Β Β Apparently its possible origin is "Perhaps imagination is only intelligence having fun" byΒ George Scialabba who graduated from the prestigious university with the class of 1969.Β Einstein died in 1955.

Makes you wonder how many other misquotes are floating around....

I do like that quote, where ever it came from... and yes, I often wonder how accurate and properly credited Β some of the quotes out there are!

Great quote. Β Einstein had quite a few to choose from too. Β At the moment my mind keeps wandering back to this one: Β βTwo things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.β
