Weapon: Heavy, blood stained Zweihander made from solid gold. It is always sheathed inside cloth as to avoid attention even if I drew it unsheathed here. The dull blade breaks things instead of cutting them. It is suspended by a sling over his shoulder.

-Background

Kouji had fled from China carrying a bloodstained sword, arriving on the shores of Japan with a Kunoichi who had shared a part in his previous experiences.

He now works as a part-time mercenary along with a few other odd jobs. Kouji had joined SDL solely to gain recognition which he hopes will open better job opportunities in order to live a normal life.

-Personality

Kouji appears to be modest and soft spoken. Although he would prefer a quiet nap in the presence of his Kunoichi friend, he is somewhat unfazed by attention.

Above everything, Kouji is a man of respect. He bows to friends, strangers, opponents and enemies, even when bitter. Anytime he is pissed he will avoid yelling or throwing indiscriminate language, but at worst will assume a grim disposition.

He is awkward around strangers, and tends to laugh unnecessarily and make comments about needless things. This and his habitual yawning created awkward moments or misunderstandings in a few occasions.

Quirks:
-Takes a nap whenever he can, and yawns occasionally
-Can't sleep without kicking or moving around
-Autumn is his favourite season. He also loves the wind.
-Likes high places
-Can be considered claustrophobic to some extent
-Realises how ominous his surname is to the Japanese, and will likely avoid mentioning it

- Fighting style

Kouji does not practice any official style of martial arts. Even if he knew one, it would unlikely be applicable while using such a hefty weapon.

That is not to say he's an amateur at fighting. Kouji has adapted to using footwork that allows centrifugal force to carry the weight of his sword, resulting in body movements that sway and spin. Although his swings are only moderately fast and leaves an opening occasionally, there is enough power to break apart a bamboo tree in one go.

Since his weapon is impractical in most situations, he will usually fight with his fists. Kouji's movements are limited any time he carries his sword but he is used to its weight. The moment he takes it off will be synonymous to Goku taking off his turtle training gear ... although he'd rather not do so if there is risk of it being stolen.

He usually aims to disarm or corner his opponents, but won't hesitate so much to take one more life if necessary.
