Penelope was being chased by Pepe Le Pew when Pepe mistaking her as a femme fertile skunk that he became crazy in love with not realizing she's a cat. Along the line he finally realizes that she is a cat when Penelope finally reveals herself as a female cat. Disappointed he leaves her alone and was left heartbroken. He started to chase other female skunks but they rejected him or he mistaking a cat that looks like a skunk. Penelope just happen to be on the side of the road looking her left from right before crossing. Besides in real life is how animals are being killed poor things. She happen to cross the road. Pepe happen to cross the same road as Penelope not paying attention he walks pass her while crosses the other side but she then stops and stares at the poor skunk. She felt bad for him she turns around on the middle of the road to meet Pepe. Pepe sat on the road looking all gloomy instead of being blissful.

"Hi.." Penelope says to Pepe, "I'm Penelope... I know who you are. Your Pepe Le Pew."

Pepe turns around and he realizes its the same cat he had been chasing. He frowns and looks away. Penelope walks closer to him with a smile on her face.

"Pepe... Look I haven't got to tell you that I was a cat because you ranked and I ran away from you."

"Ie wonder why..." Pepe said in sarcasm, still looking away from her.

"Pepe..."

"Look eef you want to pick on me because Ie always miztakeen zee catz for zunks!! Go ahead laugh at me." Pepe says in a straight out voice tone.

"I wasn't going for that, Pepe..."

"What do you want??"

She looks at him sadly and gave a sigh, "Oh never mind... Sorry to bother you. Well Bonjour Pepe... Farewell."

Penelope walks away sadly, heartbroken. Pepe just happen to turn his head to his right and looking at poor Penelope. He felted bad for speaking rude to her. I guess in his heart he does like her. Both of them were unaware that there was a car. Penelope saw headlights of the car shining on her. She didn't had time to think. She happened to look up and a car was close of hitting her. Pepe sees this coming and he runs for dear life. He reaches and jumps on Penelope in time and get her out of the way. While Pepe was in mid air. He got hit to the side and was thrown across to the other side of the road. The car is gone now. Pepe is still awake and shaking by this. He was hurting bad. He tries to get up. Pain shot up his spine and went to his head. He lay face down to the ground and by his injuries before Penelope come to find him Pepe falls unconscious. Penelope finds him and felt bad for him. She started feeling sad and crying. She decided to take him to a near by vet to take care of him.
