It isn't as soft as it used to be, especially at the tips. But it still is pretty soft, softer than some bleached hair I know of, at least. I use La Riché Directions (in the colors Carnation Pink and Bright Daffodil) [link] But I'm not sure if they're available everywhere. I'm pretty sure similar products like Manic Panic work the same.

I found their site however living in America means I need to buy 100 cases. Where do you normaly buy your dye from?
