Description
I always had some trouble with Ellanoras (character in the drawing) design - she's suppose to be albino, so white skin and hair. But the world I placed her in also uses lots of colorful and bright colours (aka my art style) - so I always drew her with brighter and darker colours -- but I'm afraid it doesn't communicate well enough that she has an uncommon skin colour, so I made all her colours lighter. Also she's from a different kingdom where clothes like this are common instead of the more arabian style all my other characters wear. I wanted to draw her with her own traditional clothes and with a slightly different (updated) design. I don't know how she looks next to the young king (her "love interest") who has a lot of darker and bright colours, so it might change again later when it doesn't look good next to each other - but for now these are the colours I'm going to stick with
(also character lives in a fantasy world so she is not accurate to real life)

I think she would make a visually pleasing foil to the young king. Her being pale and him being colorful.
Also maybe a suggestion but perhaps he commissions special clothing for her that are pale or are monochrome to compliment her complexion?

I really like this design, the dress is very doll like, kind of sells the characters in universe objectification. Also makes her look a bit like a Queen, which I mean, seems fitting.

Being an albino is genetic. It happens when there is lack of melanin in some of the genes (if I'm right)

King Dandei has a lot of white animals, and it just HIT ME that Ellanora is a fucking Albino....
