I image them as two laywers or something being often busy . They love Scootaloo a lot and get her presents because they feel bad for being away that often . Maybe thats how she got a scooter . It could also explain the sudden transfer to the ponyville school ? 'oh honey you met a new friend ? And you want to go to that school ? Of course honey '. Β wow im so good at writing aint I

I think the only reason they want her to be an orphan is so She could be adopted by Rainbow Dash. Though I believe they can still have a sisterly bond even if they're not related even by adoption. I also believe that Rainbow Dash isn't responsible enough to be anyone's mother. She simply isn't ready yet.

Actually I really like this idea for Scootaloo's parents. If you don't mind, I'd like to develop ideas for your versions of Scootaloo's parents. Or just make my own pony OC's based off this design and concept. I feel it's best to ask your permission first, though. ^^

Awesome! Once I get more used to the Paint Tool SAI program I just got, I'll probably drawing parent concepts for Scootaloo. I have a whole FIM AU planned out actually, where the history of Equestria and the main characters' family origins are more developed. That could be a perfect chance for me to work on that.

I never really liked he whole Scootaloo-orphan idea either. I always imagined it as she her mom were really close and her father was usually out so they didn't really see eachother tooΒ often
Oh, and Scootaloo and Fluttershy were somehow related Because, if you think about it, they actually look pretty similar, and they're both pegasai and stuff...
I was even thinking of givingΒ her parents names! Like, her mom could be named Lucy, or something like that

I was never fond of Scoot being an orphan either, though I did have a head canon where she was adopted and had a HUGE family full of all kind of ponies all adopted by a really sweet couple.
And these two look like the perfect couple!
Whether it's your headcanon or mine, I love the idea behind them.
