Interesting effect on the top piece, feel like layers of sediment strata sticking jaggy-like from the ground. Dig the lighting on the ship in the second as well.

Wooow these are very impressive. I'm curious as to how you made the effect most apparent in the top painting, I can see a photo texture hidden in there and yet somehow its warped all over the place!

Hey thanks, what I did there is start from the photo, duplicate and distort it several times until I find something interesting. Then cleanup with selections and normal brush. I also use a little bit of smudge tool with a hard square

it's a good habit to put the time if not for you but for others.
And, like usual you are fantastic with this stuff.
I like the first one with the landscape - i did not see too much landscapes with this technique... i'll give you a hint: "do more".
