Description
Famous Multnomah Falls, in the historic Columbia River Gorge near Portland, Oregon.Multnomah Falls is the second-tallest year-round waterfall in the country, and the largest of the 77 waterfalls on the Oregon side of the Columbia River.
From it's top, it falls 620 feet in two separate falls to the pool at the bottom with a second pool at about the 60 foot point.

Beautiful! It's not hard to see why the Columbia is labeled as the most beautiful in North America!
I'm at the other end. Almost 2,000 kilometers from here, as the river flows.
Its actually pretty amazing at this end as well.

i heard a bride fell off that bridge and died in the pool below. o_o;
i dunno if it's true, but i love that place so freaking much... Oregon is such a beautiful place...
and it's such a fun spot to take pictures from. there are so many beautiful angles...

Thank you so much Leeenya! I waited and waited trying to get the shot with no people on the bridge but no go. So I just took the shot then cloned them all out. Can you tell?

Yes...I use Photo Impact but you can do it in most good editing programs. I just copied some texture from a different area into the spaces between bridge uprights and across the top rail to "color out" all the people that were on the bridge. It's a cool technique that helps get rid of any unwanted distractions in a photo.
