HA i don't work with them personaly, i'm working my way up although we do have a bald eagle, golden eagle and two white tailed sea eagles

Lol, go for it. I started in 2008 but I grew up surrounded by falconry because of my Dad (ex-falconer), and I got a head start once I started the practical stuff (the other volunteers hate me because I'm always miles ahead ). I started in June, and in 2009 I had a barn owl who was my responsibility. But she wasn't imprinted properly and we didn't know her history, and she just wasn't happy- So we moved her on. Two years later I got Milo, who can be an absolute pain (most nervous harris I've ever met) but he's a dream once he's had the time put into him. Now I'm losing him too, but I'm excited for my new *baby* next year.

sounds awesome! i would love my own bird nut i don't have the time, and i only volenteer in the hols because it's 3 hours away and i'm still at school! Jealous! ^^ and what are you going to get??

Corr' thats a trek! I'm doing A-levels right now and it's a mission to get 2 minutes up the road to my bird before it gets dark! I'm looking to get another harris hawk next year, probably a male.

Between falconry and A-levels, I do not have anything even slightly resembling a social life. What subjects are you taking? I'm doing English Lit, English Language, Biology and Art.
