Description Tom apparently doesn't carry a grudge against Goldberry for dragging him into the river. The very next day he catches her and they get married in a jolly wedding. They also live happily ever after, as we who read "The Fellowship of the Ring" very well know. *The End!*

The River-woman crying at her daughter's wedding is a great humorous touch. And is that Gandalf and a Ranger and an Elf in attendance?

I really like this series of yours, based on "The Adventures of Tom Bombadil." I discovered that book in 1966, right after I had read "Lord of the Rings" for the first time, and it enchanted me.

It's Gandalf, Radagast the brown and an elf lord (fill in your choice of name).

Glad you liked my little series of artwork I, like most people it seems, have a big soft spot for Tom Bombadil. I discovered Tolkien in the 1980's, when a lot of very nice editions were being published in my native Sweden, so all of his works were translated and very accessible.

Yes, I was looking at your lovely wedding picture again last evening, and I realized the figure in the middle must indeed be Radagast. Perhaps the elf lord is Gildor? Anyway, thank you for the reply and for your artwork -- I like it very much.

Great way of telling what the poem is about, sad Tom never got his own "Story" in the films of Lotr. That would have been awesome.
