found this rubber duck when I was taking a walk, thought it might be a good modelAlthough we are faced with being alone through any type of journey, it does not mean we can't get through it. We might get a bit scuffed up along the way (as this fine specimen did), but that's part of the process. If you don't go through a treacherous journey or expedition without a few cuts and bruises, did you really experience anything valuable? Don't give up because you think it is/might be too hard. I believe in you.

We used to have a big rubber duck race in our river every year. sadly, I don't think they do it any more.

I think it was for charity. They would have hundreds maybe thousands of entrants. When it was all done with they'd fish them out of the river, of course. It was a cool sight. I forgot all about it until I saw your picture.
