Description
This is my first drawing of the asian nations...well...a few of them. Each one is during a specifically hard time during that country's life. There are several to choose from obviously, as every nation has had war and death face it's people.

Warning! History and hidden meanings ahead!

Japan:
1945; atomic bombs hit Hiroshima
I went for a look of Kiku looking very ill probably from radiation poisoning, and dazed, as well as beaten up

China:
During communist rule, specifically 1919; out of the other countries he is doing a little better, being communist he thought he was helping his people, so he stands taller/stronger than the others. He is the oldest, trying to also keep his family alive. But he is still beaten up

Hong Kong:
Opium War, specifically 1839; i aimed for a look of being tired and beaten. And also since it was a war over Opium, i tried giving him a drugged appearance.

Korea:
Korean War; 1950's: Yes this is just Korea! Not north or south, just what i think korea looks like! At this time i see him as being one person(?) who is very beaten down having to be at war with himself. Outwardly he looks more like what his people are going through. Suffering, police abuse, and famine.

Yes, i fail at titles for this one, and they are all at various points in their life so no one is the right age i guess you could say... and dammit i forgot the star on china's armband thingy >.< other than that i'm deabating whetehr i should colour this more or not...
