Heart’s lamentA bed’s fallen petals
Know not the Rose
Its stem giveth suffering
A lover’s promise
Atop pained lies
A pricked heart
Warm anguish streaming like vines
That but a few simple words
Could shed a life in moments
Such a simple thorn
Maine a gentle organ
Step lightly on the fragile garden
Walk away from the ruined bed
There leys bloodied tears and petals
No more shall Roses rise in beauty
