I got too tired to draw seriously last night so I opted for the next best thing; I doodled a bit of Loki's family. Well, my versions anyway.In order: Hel, Vali, Nari, Sleipnir, Jormungander, Fenrir.
And then there was Sigyn, Loki's wife. Everyone thinks they have a beautiful, functional relationship, but I interpreted it differently. Loki is married, right? But he goes around and sleeps with everything but his wife. His wife is super devoted to him... I see her as a stalker who's obsessed with him to the point where he hates her quite a bit. Plus, the only way the gods would ever let Loki's wife sit with him until the end of time to relieve his pain in his binding story is if Loki couldn't stand her. Thus, I made her creepy as all hell.

I like that someone still knows the original stories Β (which is rare searching in the internet, I doubt that crazy Loki fangirl army even look in Wikipedia or anything) , but it was Loki who was obviously pain in the ass in this marriage ,heck He was even called in Edda as the "burden of her arms" , they certainly weren'tΒ best married couple of the ages but there was DEFINITELY some good reason why he married her and why she held that freaking bowl.Also they had children.(I love Norse Mythology so hard , I nearly started to cry reading the story how Vali and Narvi ended Β ).Plus he was grateful for that she stayed with him until Ragnarok. Oh, and not EVERYONE thinks they had good relationship,Marvel made the worst interpretation EVERΒ Β .Don't get me wrong please,Β I love your art and ideas , but I just wanted to say that it wasn't FANS idea to see them as a somehow functional couple ,but it was VIKINGS idea who made these stories. (sorry for my English) Β
