That's my favorite part. I always pictured this race of people as being entirely black, with beautiful puffs of brightly colored fabric and such around their torsos. They're like....little black birds who collect shineys and wear them.

I'm loving how you've drawn his face and the clothing folds–not to mention the intricate patterns for the materials that make them, or the freaking awesome eyes popping out of the creepy deep blue aura around him.
