"Let the little children come to me."This was more of an experiment and art block killer. Long ago =bluealaris grew the most gorgeous picture of Symone. His expression was so serene and gorgeous, I wanted to color it. In all technicality this was a collab between =bluealaris and I, for she drew the child on the left and the man at the top. I drew the one on the right and the blonde, lined it all, then colored it.
I still think her Symone is utterly, spine tinglingly, beautiful. How I love that man, despite all his faults. You can see more of him here:
Please tell me if the contrast is too high, it's hard to save from photoshop nowadays.

this is gorgeous <3 i love the religious symbology and the colors are just ffft deliciouss, especially those lovely greenish tints in the skin tones.
and the hands are extra impressive, cuz i know that many in one image would have killed me.

I just can't seem to get all the wonderful textures and confidence that other people have.

So do I, actually, it was a play on that. The sad thing is I really like Jesus and his teachings, but I hate how people twist and corrupt it all. I guess the pedophile character is a play on more than just the phrase too. But yes, Jesus did say that. "Let the little children come to me." Specifically.

that little girl's face is far too old for her. It works on the girl beside her quite well. Other than that awesome work.

Good! Haha, because they're supposed to look older than they are. But which one in particular? I was having trouble with the one on the right. He's (that's a boy in makeup) supposed to be 17. The one in the middle is the youngest, but she's supposed to look like an adult. I dunno, but thanks for the crit! I appreciate it.
