Description
Another character inspired by Final Fantasy XII.
Character Background:
V'Jal is a warder of the Viera people and wears their dark armor. Upon failing to pass the test for her fourth ring of protection (self, family, clan, and country), the elders of her clan decided it would be best if she went to the world outside the Golmore jungle to learn how world affairs can effect her home. To this end, she has been assigned Vein as her ward. V'Jal takes her work seriously and will protect Vein to the very end.
Even though V'Jal views her current assignment as a punishment, she has started to learn the value of interaction of the races through Vein's work. She has little love of Humes, Bangaas, and Seeqs, however, she has developed a strange affinity for Moogles.
Details:
It was always my plan to do two characters. I have wanted to render a street market scene with two Viera characters interacting with a vendor. This is the second character. Now to start work on that scene....
Overall, she is not a whole lot different from the Vein character I worked on other than the head and face morphs I also created some new toe morphs to move them around as well as some new ear morphs. (well... ok... there are a lot of differences....)

i heard that the viera have no choice but to where high heels. is that true?

From what little reference drawings I could find at the time I did these, the answer would appear to be yes. It has to do with how their ankles are configured. They have to walk around on the balls of their feet.

Actually, the heels with the Viera are a bit different. If you have not noticed, Fran's heels only have thw back-side only. Since they almost walk on their toe's all the time. So those "Half-Heel's" are just helping the viera to walk.

Absolutely Sensational artwork, I love how well you do are able to accept just what you wish in your images.

I use a variety of programs. Poser, Poseray, IBX, Povray/Megapov, and Photshop/Gimp. I have never been able to find a single tool that gives me what I want, so I use a fairly complex tool chain.

Oooh, so cool. The feet and nails are so accurate to that of the games CG version of Fran and other Viera. I'm sure it must be awesome to make your own characters like that. I can't help but be envious of your talent. xD
Oh, please do that scene with V'Jal and Vein with the vendor! Maybe a Bangaa or a Seeq or what have you. That would be so neat!

I wanted to make her look a little ...upset...
The hair is one of my personal favorites. It is known as Reika hair. It is a freebie someplace out on the net.... I just can't remeber where.
It is actually part of a whole character kit.
I had to make the white texture for it though.
