people have been asking me to draw rapunzel (from the new disney movie tangled) for ages now, but honestly i don't like drawing characters from movies i don't like or movies i haven't seen. however! i saw tangled a while back and i thought it was awesome. i loved rapunzel, she was so adorable, and the character animation was extremely enjoyable. so i figured it was time to draw some quick, messy fanart...drawn in photoshop cs5 with a wacom tablet in about 4 hours. for more info on my artwork please visit [link]

It's pretty good. Yeah! Tangled was pretty solid despite all of the dissing it received last year.

funny, i only really read good reviews and heard positive feedback from animation friends! i didn't really delve too deeply into how it was received though.

I picked it up because a few friends liked it. I bought it and loved it. It felt like your usual Disney story but a whole lot more light-hearted, which made it fun and enjoyable.
The negativity I had heard regarding "Tangled" was back around the time of the theatrical trailer. I think I just wound up getting someone mad at me because I wouldn't join in the hate parade. At that time it was too early for me to hate it. Only time I won't care for something is when I know it will be a let down, like "The Looney Tunes Show." It's not going to live up to the classics.

Haven't seen the movie yet, but I really want to. I think the movie version of Rapunzel is incredibly well done an extremely cute, and your take on her is wonderful as always!
