a scenic commission for the very awesome Gosh-Heck !

this was a super fun project, and it may have taken me 10+ hours (the damn grass was a pain :')), but i really enjoyed making it! please zoom in, there's a lot of tiny details that unfortunately aren't very clear ^^

it was an honour to draw these babies, and i hope i managed to do them justice! i love ike sm omg ;W;

i really enjoyed the smaller details, like david's rings and drawing the trio with their adventuring wear ^^ at first i thought it would make no sense for koda's sword to be sticking out of the ground like it is, but when i read that she doesn't look after her swords too well i like "well i mean maybe she *would* shove a sword into the dirt for dramatic effect" x'D

as soon as you described that you wanted these guys drawn going on an adventure my mind immediately went to one of those dramatic scenes where the protagonist is standing atop a cliff with the wind blowing- so that concept was a major inspiration here, i couldn't help myself :'D
