is the armature made of wire or something else? i am learning how to use foil under my sculpture and somehow i dont see that being very useful in a felt sculpture. X3

I tend to use cushion foam or pipe insulation because it won't break the needle if I hit it through the wool. And for legs and other "load bearing" parts, I use pipe cleaners or aluminum wire. Those you do have to be careful when you're felting around them.

He's one of my favorites out of the group that I just did. ^_^ First time using the natural, non-dyed, minimally processed wool. It's got a good texture that's really easy to felt with.
