Unfortunately, that's what happens in movies.  They only have so much time to convey events, characters and emotions, that they edit out a lot of what makes the character the person we loved in the books. Still, they did show his bravery in battle and saving Faramir's life.

Wow! Amazing! Just one thing...His left eye (right when you look at it from the front) is a little off. His face is also a smidge too long, but hey, I REALLY shouldn't talk about it, considering the quality of my art >_<
