Okay, I've just finished reading "A walk to remember" by Nicholas Sparks yesterday. And it was in that particular part (the one I've drawn) where I started crying. Oh god, it was such a wonderfully written novel!SPOILERS AHEAD. READ IF YOU DARE
"You can't be in love with me, Landon," she said through red and swollen eyes. "We can be friends, we can see each other...but you can't love me."
"Why not?" I shouted hoarsely, not understanding any of this.
"Because," she finally said softly, "I'm very sick, Landon,"
The concept was so absolutely foreign that I couldn't comprehend what she was trying to say.
"So what? You'll take a few days..."
A sad smile crossed her face, and I knew right then what she was trying to tell me. Her eyes never left mine as she finally said the words that numbed my soul.
"I'm dying, Landon."

I loved the movie so I decided to buy the novel. And oh god, of course I wasn't disappointed
It's very different from the movie, the novel. The novel's setting was much much earlier than the movies. But nevertheless, it was wonderful.This is my pathetic attempt of drawing Jamie and Landon. Ah gosh, it sucks

Do you know what sucks about tragic love?. Its like, even though the couple is happy knowing that their feelings for each other is returned, it just seems so doomed to fail. Why is that?.

Because usually fate won't let them. Like Romeo and Juliet, they loved each other from the moment they laid eyes upon each other, but Fate won't let them have it their way.

Good points: the eyes are expressive.^^, you have clean lines
things to take note: anatomy; in this case kasi, medyo malaki yung ulo nila, and yung crosshatching (needs polishing. magulo pa kasi),
good point but needs improvement: yung shading. may sense ka na ng light and shade, i suggest na i-intensify mo pa yung highlights and shades para mas may contrast at maganda tignan. ganun kasi pag black and white.^^
