I don't know much about Vagrant Story, but I like the warm colours of the picture. Sydney seems like a pretty cold character to me, and most of the official art for him is in a cool colour scheme. I like how your colouring with minimal highlights gives the forms a sculptural quality. :3 He looks a lot more realistic this way.

Nice job. The pose is great. I never got the whole effeminate thing either. But then, that seems to be quite the fashion anymore, doesn't it? Can't men be manly anymore? This is a good manly Sydney, but it retains the feeling of grace that the game displays.
