Description Edit: I finally finished the photo tutorial for this, you can find it here: [link]

...although it's debatable whether or not they actually look like cubes from this angle.

This is what I learned how to make at my first origami meeting, which I went to at the beginning of this month

Each cube is made from six UNGLUED sheets of 12.7x12.7cm paper, and there are special 'indents' in each so that the cubes can be stacked on top of each other. XD

At the meeting we made a stack of NINE cubes... well, eight could stand without help, the ninth needed a liiitle bit of help. XD

Anyway, I started making a photo tutorial for this, but it got a little lost along the wayside... so if you want to know how to make these too, pleeeease poke me @__@ Preferably hard. And insistently. *too lazy for her own good* <_<

I don't know who invented this model, so if anyone can tell me that would be great.

I did it too and 4 cubes from 8x8cm papersheets can stand but no more because fourth stands with difficulties

Yay!

Well, the 8 that managed to stand by themselves at the origami meeting were all different sizes, so maybe that made a difference to how many could be stacked? XD

Or maybe there's just magic at origami meetings

It's actually really simple and I'm making a photo tutorial for it at the moment, so maybe you can give it a try yourself when it's done

And I will try and finish it then So far I've assembled instructions to make the basic unit, but now I have to explain how to put everything together and make some sort of introduction that makes sense...
