Well this is a request from two devients who asked for it after seeing my drawing of Roy Mustang, so I did it and I got my 8B pencils today so that was exciting... almost as exciting as two compleat drawings in two days!!!!!But yeah enough ramblng here he is Hughes.

How long did it take to draw this drawing because it is amazing.

I think this one was about 3-4 hours I can't really remember. Thank you I try to get better each time I draw

Well, you do seem to be getting better, but I like some of your early work best because of the colors you used. Will you be doing any more art in color?
Also, where is your drawing of Mustang? I can't find it in your gallery.

It's just a shame with uni I don't get a lot of time these days, I do have two projects that I'm working on that are in colour I've taken to water-colour pencils. It's just a case of working on them when I get some spare time ya know.
The mustang drawing is still in the gallery... scared me for a sec there as I don't have the original anymore

he's actually the reason i occassionally try to grow out a little bit of a beard. it'd be awesome to have a beard like his!

Haha, it's fine =] Also (you probably know this already but I'll reiterate) Japanese artists usually put nosebleeds for "utterly sexy" things, so this is can also be "OMYHE'SREALLLYHOT" with a high-pitched fangirl voice (Which I think I DID say that when I saw this...

This is a very good drawing i recently got a comment by Leonardo da Vinci i want to know why get a special pencil for drawing i use regular pencils like 2b but oh well anyway Great drawing

I used to just use regular pencils and for sketching I still do sometimes, but for full tonal drawings I like using the different pencils as they increase the range of tones I can get in the light and dark extremes, the problem I had before with normal pencils was to go really dark I had to press really hard and with a harder pencil this ripped the paper and never went as dark as I wanted, with the 9B I have now that overcomes that, but I don't use it all the time.

Mine are like a griphite stick that is the same width as a pencil and has paper sound it insted of wood, which is awesome because normally they are big chunky things that are harder to use as after a while they hurt my hand

there is nothing wrong with the way you draw (I had a look at your gallery, it's really good) just experiment and practice thats all it is you'll be amazed how quickly you get better and better, don't be scared to try new things like really dark tones or a new way of blending. that's how I found out what works well for me and I'm still learning all the time
