Totally just had to look up Jefferson County. My, oh my. And living in the country is actually really inexpensive in comparison to the larger cities (at least where I live). Property is affordable here, but there are few opportunities job wise. I don't know how old you are, but if you're in your late teens/early twenties like I am, you're probably way better off in the city.

I already have a really good job.  Got $30K in the bank saved up for a house.. I just need to find one that fits what I want.  And preferably outside of JeffCo since the cost of living here is pretty high.

It's not easy work, and it's not glorious work... but one can't argue with $17.50 an hour with the potential to make $30 an hour down the road.

Hahaha, I wouldn't mind a F-150 but the one I want I can't afford.  Even after discount.  Damn pickups have got so expensive over the past several years.

I'm on my third GM.
If I had the money I'd prob get a F-250 since they're also made in Louisville.

Look up Louisville Assembly Plant and Kentucky Truck Plant on Google Earth.

My plant makes Escapes and will be making Lincolns soon (shhh..not supposed to tell anybody.....even though everybody knows anyway) and the bigger plant makes all the super duties+Expedition/Navigator.

What's your town again?
