WHOOPS. I forgot to update this!Just worked on this in my life drawing class! A different student was our model but I remember him from a few of my previous classes. We were given only 2 hours and we had to use charcoal pencil or conte. I chose charcoal only because I used conte too much. Really happy with the results, though I could've crosshatched more in certain areas and fix some of the folds on the fabric. And I think I drew his head a little bit too small. But I'm satisfied with the shading.

It depends on what style you use for cartooning! Though, I think realism takes a lot longer!

I can agree, especially when you consider the structure of the human anatomy in real life... Hence why I've never liked drawing in that style. XD
