I had a wonderful trip to South Africa, spending most of my time in and around Kruger Park! We were totally spoiled with wildlife and I plan to illustrate one ACEO for each animal we saw. The list is well over 50, so you all are in for a treat!

We waited in great anticipation for an hour and a half as a young female leopard stalked a steenbok. Completely dark, save the torch from the ranger driving the vehicle every 20 minutes. Every time the torch flashed, she had moved a few inches closer while we waited. Although she did not make the kill in the end, that was an experience I will never forget! Those creatures are built for stealth.
